   About puppy mills i AGREE.

i AM A BREEDER BUT i BREED FOR QUALITY NOT $$ OR VOLUME.
aND i ONLY CONSIDER PURE BREEDS.

iN MY OWN CASE, i MIGHT have 1-5 new pups per year, yet my pups are sold for $400+ nearly double the usual rate for poms.

ANyway mine are also housetrained and housebroken and peopletrained before being sold.

Plus I turn down nearly half of the potential buyers and will tend to turn down anybody who even seems wrong or whos family isnt 100% behind getting a pup.

In the past I have personallly been more responsible than most in rescue when I had better facilitiies..
I no longer do it because it was too draining and too much trouble.

Yet there are those who would dare call me a puppy mill.

I'm very pissed because Tsunami on the riverwalk closed. There was no warning. They just closed! That was the closest sushi joint to where I live so now I'm going to have to head up on the hill or over to Brookside. Downtown takes too long.

You want to know what I'm pissed off about? I'm pissed that the people that are bitching about high gas prices are the same people that let George W. Bush steal not one, but two elections and did nothing about it. Bush is, and always has been funded by "Big Oil Money". Whether from Texas or Saudi Arabia. Now it's time for him to pay them back by making all the oil company exec's multi-billionaires. And NO ONE is doing anything to stop the bleeding!

I'm pissed at people griping about the price of gas. It costs what it costs, so if you don't like it find another mode of transport.

I'm pissed off that no one is able to spell correctly. You people are evidence of the "dumbing down of America" or Amrika as you as think it is spelled. Rediculus! OWELL...(sarcasm, anyone?)

Also, I'm sick of everything being blamed on Bush (GASP!). Granted, he sucks, but there's a whole government out there that we the people voted for that have had a hand in creating the current economic situation.

I've been here since 2002, I've been shot at, threaten, accuse and taken to court, jail, and was burglarize, vandalize, asked to move, profile, and many other things such as being an illegal. I'm not pissed off, because I got sunshine. So sing with me...

American Parking (trustee of Tulsa Parking Authority) has began issuing tickets/citations on the lot where the old towerview apartments used to stand. It has no 'paid parking' identification (lighting, striping, pay meters/stations,etc..)and appears seperate from the adjacent 'marked/identified' American Parking lot. Is there change of fees, or status regulations or requirements, or can it be one thing one day, and a different animal the next, and Joe Q. Public need not be notified, or must we assume all concerete and asphalt in the business district is 'fair ticket' game, and is even city property yet? I know of dozens of tickets issued in the last serveral days, surely amounting in the hundred of dollars, and will continue to amass. This seems like a speedtrap of sorts to me, except even a speedtrap usually will have the speed posted on the road enforced. It is also more expensive for the ticket, than for most parking - maybee a little extra summer-fun money getting generated for the Parking Authority's trustee's (American Parking)!!??.. Any info on?

Driving a CNG vehicle is a smart thing. As crude oil prices continue to spike and gas prices follow, it makes immanent sense to go CNG for those who can afford to switch. In OK, we are very fortunate that ONG offers their fleet pumps with 24h credit card access to the general public so one can drive about anywhere in OK and refuel. But, they are not ready for the demand that is happening, nor have other businesses stepped up yet. I'd like to see Oklahomans, especially those suffering worst from gas prices benefit from this resource. CNG is very clean, safe, in abundance right here in OK, and easy on your engine. We need to rally on this!

Hi, I am not actually pissed off, but I am a little bit upset. I keep trying to respond to articles in the Urban Tulsa Weekly, and for some unknown reason I either can't find where to respond at, or after I do respond, it won't take. Is there a problem accepting responses from the articles that are written? I wish that it could be fixed, I would so much like to comment, especially on Isaac Farley's articles. He has such a dry wit! I am totally in love with his humor, and his writing style. Thanks Isaac!! BRAVO!!!!

2 BILLION DOLLARS FOR STREETS!!!! I would have an easier time voting yes if there were more mass transportation dollars included. I want to see the Downtown Tulsa rail line installed, the Broken Arrow Line installed and double the bus routes. Then I will vote yes.

Again in Tulsa, we have "harmless, merely annoying" homeless people beating a victim to death. Will our DA step up to the plate this time? Will the TPD take ANY interest in bums other than those threatening the Mayor's Arena? I doubt it.

Absolutely crap to do around here for families with young children. Why can't Tulsa have more festivals or some kiddie carnivals? They took Bell's away. The aquarium in Jenks is expensive. The zoo gets boring after the 15th trip in the same year. The Air & Space Museum does as well. So what is left? Tulsa is turning into an old-people's town. I can't take the children even to the municipal gardens without someone following us around. And the museums are off limits for anyone but the snooty. Dress down and/or bring children and see how they treat you. Absurd!!

Im pissed at the fact that, ppl can get there children taken away just from hearsay, and be forced to do drug an alcohol classes, (WHICH I DONT DO!!!) and have to fight with courts and the other spouse. over something you never did. And its and ongoing process, up to a year, of living hell. Without ur child that you raised by yourself?! I dont get it, nobody stepped in and did there job, when it came to the "best intrest in the child". I truly hope that the system will change and get more into each parent.

Heeeeeey. The signal lights that are activated by flicking a lever (a truly slight movement) are there for a reason: so I can read your mind! Use one and see how quickly I can slow down and not plow into your @$# with just a little extra reflex time. You'll be amazed!

Having said that I now say this: Heeeey. The big rectangle in the floorboard is a BRAKE. You depress it with the foot you remove from the accelorator. The slowing down of the vehicle that was bearing down on your @$# at a rate of speed equal to your own is a beautiful thing to behold in a rearview mirror.

And another thing: Turn on your lights during inclement weather. Every car looks gray on a gray day ; even your shiny new one. Most drivers are simply looking for openings in the traffic to make their moves. If everyone around you has lights on and you don't: you look like that opening. Lights on for safety.

Today I saw not one, but two bums urinating in public. One was at the west end of Lyon's Indian Store at 11th and Elgin. The other was leaning against a telephone pole right at the intersection of 51st and Lewis. It's getting ridiculous, folks.
