I can't say that any of the comments that I've read above have anything to do with the issues. They're more likely those of opposition campaigns.

I agree that the control of this city has been concentrated within a small group of wealthy people. Just review the last names involved and their affiliations.

Lets face facts. Downtown is not the key to Tulsa's revival. It's not real hard to figure that out.

So far, I'm liking Medlock as a candidate. It's time to concentrate on Tulsa as a whole. The management of this city has been abysmal for a very long time (Rep and Dem). It's time for real leadership. I hope that Medlock is as advertised.

As for the "Gang of Five" and "Recall" issues, It makes him a more desirable candidate in my view.

Unemployed, and a small business operator. How does he find the time to run a campaign for mayor? Is there someone behind this effort??

Peelumba - it is people like you who closed their own eyes, ignored the obvious flaws, and voted for change by electing Obama. Well, the only change most of America will ever see is that little coinage left in their pockets after paying up all their taxes for the huge debt we and our children are left with. YOU need to open your eyes! Wake up and smell FREEDOM!!!!!!

medlock for mayor......nah. He's the one that kind of has a masters degree.......except for some pesky classes he forgot to take. Yep an avid conservative whom tends to lie when it might make him look good. The ring leader of the "gang of five" that tried in every turn to high jack the city before. No thank you keep him off the public coffers.

If he somehow makes it all the way through, will his opposition show any goodwill toward him? Even if they disagree.

Crikey!! Peelumba your comment; "keep the ultra conservatives out of office they have a major league case os tunnel vision", must be talking about the "Queen ofda Crystal Cube" and her "elitest" GOB's giving and spending all the $$$ so they get richer! ... you should take a drive north of Admiral and visit us folks!! We'll show ya's how the rest of us live.

Elect Medlock for Mayor and end-up with Change.

I really like the idea of having a mayor who is not part of a political dynasty, not from the the midtown "elite" and most importantly one who is not a shill for the chamber and the fat cats.Medlock fits the bill. We need to stir things up.Barlett is just a Kathy Taylor clone.

With all of the republican candidates in this race, some there just to split the vote..the true grassroots members are really going to have stand up and be heard. Now is the time to show our strength and Elect Chris Medlock for Mayor.
