I love the river and the river parks and would love to see improvements in that area -- particularly anything that the city can do to make the new Kaiser park at 31st Street a reality! But in contrast to the person who thinks that we can make the river some other color besides "brown" -- I certainly doubt that. It's a sandy-bottom river -- maybe we can get it cleaner, but it's always going to appear brown. Unless of course we dye it green like they do the Chicago River on St. Pat's day!

The trail system along the river and connecting to Sand Springs and Broken Arrow is one of the best trail systems in the midwest. This is something that few other cities have. We should focus on what a great asset the Arkansas River is for our city and put some Vision2 money into expanding recreation opportunities nearby -- as well as connecting it to other parts of the city including more downtown.

Well I would like to see a 2nd Zoo type of recreational thing built in Downtown, if not transfer the whole thing down that's already the zoo. Ive visited LA, NYC and Switzerland to get a big city vibe. Tulsa seems like it has no focus--it has ADD, and needs to be highly medicated. It is scattered all over the place like a badly designed gown. I'd like this city to be more centered, focused, and dynamic. Are this city's city planners monkeys? Or kids with ADD? Lets give Tulsa some well-needed healthcare and lots and lots of aderall.

This ciy needs a amusement park for are kids.A city the size of Tulsa without a amusement park is redicklous. It's the countys fault we no longer have one. They need to partner with Bells that they bankrupted and get them some land and what they need to get it done.We have a good zoo and we don't need any more river projects or expantion of the airport that dosn't have that much traffic.Either do something that's needed or forget about it.
