I can't believe this still hasn't passed. Who, exactly, is dragging this out? How many pedestrians need to be run over before safety and logic become priorities? It seems like the best time to embrace this upgrade (form-based code) would be NOW, before everything gets purchased and remodeled, so that the whole retail and dining area will be safe to wander...otherwise, there will be casualties. vehicular manslaughter, dui's, excessive exposure to exhaust fumes...etc. I'd love to see a shuttle making the rounds from parking lots near Hillcrest, Owen Park, and OSU Regional, to all the densely commercial areas. It is just obviously so much more responsible than having hundreds of cars and distracted people in a hurry, tipsy... so...who IS profiting from this delay? Is their profit enough to justify the danger it creates? Get over your power trip and let us evolve while we still have the momentum...Bring on the form-based code!
