True Enlightenment. Opening its 28th season today, the OK Mozart festival features some of the nation's best musical and artistic talent in 10 days of performances, clinics and exhibits centered in the beautiful city of Bartlesville and branching out to the surrounding area. Resident orchestra Amici New York hosts guest conductors Constantine Kisopoulos and James Bagwell, and special guests Esperanza Spalding, Callen Clarke and Kyle Dillingham can be heard later in the week. Down and Dirty. Muskogee is gearing up for Mudstock, the 5th Annual Mud Volleyball Tournament. Teams from all over the state will battle it out in effort to win prizes and raise money. All proceeds go towards the Muskogee County Council of Youth Services, an organization that helps families and youth through preventative and intervention services, and Women In Safe Homes, Inc, a program that works against domestic violence. Teams can pre-register, and spectators are invited to come and watch a day of dirt and charity. Special events include live music and Sooners vs. Cowboys mud match. First serve is at 9am.

Wheeling Around. The Lobeck-Taylor Family Foundation will host the Townie Ride as part of the St. Francis Tulsa Tough event. Tulsa Tough is a town-wide bicycling blowout that works to encourage fitness and healthy living. The Townie is a free family race that will be led by OU football team member and five-time pro-bowler Roy Williams starting at 2pm at 15th and Riverside.

Semiotic Expression. Art isn't just paint spilled across canvas, scenes of nature or portraits. Forget what you think you know about art, and experience "Translationships. An Interactive Art Exhibit of Relationships Between Technology, Language and Experience" translated by interaction designer Ashley John Pigford. Encierro! Join Hornsby, mascot of the Tulsa Drillers, and the Green Country Roller Girls for the first ever Tulsa Bull Run. The cost is $10, which includes admission to the Driller's home game v. Northwestern Arkansas at OneOK Field, 201 N. Elgin Ave. After the game, Hornsby will lead out two dozen roller girls, and the chase will wind all the way trough the Brady Arts District. Dress up in traditional white and red garb and join the race. Be sure to show off your costume to local sponsors in the district, and for goodness sakes ... RUN.

Run With the Horse. Ford Motors enthusiasts will flock to the 38th Annual Mid America Ford Shelby Nationals. Spectators can make the short drive to Hallett Motor Racing Speedway, 59901 E. 55 Rd., Jennings, for four days of Team Mustang Open Track. The meet is also taking place all around Tulsa, including events with speakers, videos, activities for those interested. There will be platforms of historic cars, auctions for vintage parts, a banquet and an all day Mustang drag racing event at the Tulsa Raceway Park, 3101 N. Garnett Rd.
