All holidayed out? Too bad. Allow me to place a bow on the old year with a final season-themed column. According to some accounting nerds at PNC Wealth Management, the 12 days of Christmas would cost $86,609.

First of all, where can I apply for a job that allows me to guestimate a fictional purchase? Second of all, I can give you 12 almost-as-nice gifts for half the retail value. What is half price of free? Maybe we should have the desk jockeys at PNC work on that for us.

In the mean time here goes something.

On the 12th day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... Twelve new players on the Oklahoma State men's basketball team.

On the 11th day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... Eleven upgraded OU Sooners on the defensive side of the ball. (They are going to need it in a few weeks.)

On the 10th day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... A ten-game winning streak for the Tulsa Oilers. I speak for all Tulsans when I say playoff hockey in the BOK Center would be a treat.

On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... A huge statistical day for number nine in the BCS title game. Juaquin Iglesias will need to have the game of his life with DeMarco Murray out with a leg injury.

On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... Eight rowdy Golden Hurricane fans at the GMAC Bowl. It is hard to be picky this late in the season. We'll settle for eight.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love should give to me...

On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... Six new sports media personalities in Tulsa. Can we cause change? Yes we can. The Animal teases their upcoming lineup change. Why do I already feel disappointed? Probably because nothing can top their heist of mixing Jerry "Big O" Ostroski into the fold weeks ago.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... Five touchdown passes for David Johnson in the aforementioned GMAC Bowl. For the record, it took everything in my soul to refrain from using the catchy Subway tune in this slot. You know the one.

On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... Four wins for the Oklahoma City Blunder before the All-Star break. I will go way out on a limb and say coaching is not the problem.

On the third day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... Tony Romo, Terrell Owens and Jason Witten wearing French berets, sipping hot chocolate and getting along like nice teammates under a moonlit sky.

On the second day of Christmas, my true love should give to me... Two Drillers Stadium designs along with two choices for the stadium's name. How better to involve the community, generate interest and reel in a few additional viewers to your Web site than a gimmicky contest? Rig the results, Tulsa would never know. Just get the citizens involved.

It is almost unfathomable in this economical climate when someone gets a pay increase. Cowboys Coach Mike Gundy received a 100 percent increase. His seven-year contract for more than $15 million is drool inducing.

Let's be honest. His raise was given for beating an overrated Missouri team. Let me make it very clear. Good for Coach Gundy and his family. Otherwise, there is no difference between this year and past campaigns.

Back to the Holiday Bowl. If you are toiling about in a non-BCS game, isn't the Holiday Bowl the ideal choice? A big time matchup against a Pac 10 foe is solid. In this case, the Oregon Ducks provide the opposition.

A primetime television slot on ESPN at a fabulous location -- San Diego intrigues. You can spend New Year's Eve at home partying like it is 1999 since the game is on Dec 30.

What's not to love about this partnership? The viewer gets oodles of offense and points galore. The broadcast is easily the most attractive bowl game of the day.

Oklahoma State is a 3-point favorite. The over/under is set at 76.5. So you're telling me we'll have a close game with lots of points? Sign me up.

Win or lose, according to my friends and BCS haters, is irrelevant. Outside of the title game, the "lesser" bowl games do not count. I vehemently disagree.

If I were a betting man, I would take the push -- Okie State by three.
