Started right here in Tulsa, Daylight has been serving its brand of doughnuts since 1954. With locations across the city (more than what's listed above), Daylight is, of course, known for its doughnuts and other pastries. One must wise in the morning and be diligent in trying some of the other selections. They also carry ham and cheese breakfast sandwiches and delicious sausage rolls. Try one with a cup of coffee or a great cup of OJ.

Phil-Asia

For a taste of the Philippines, try lunch at Phil-Asia. The restaurant and grocery store feature a selection of cafeteria-style midday course items at reasonable prices. Customer favorites include Beef Caldereta, a beef stew with chunks of meat and vegetables, and Chicken Adobo, large pieces of bone-in chicken cooked with soy sauce, garlic, vinegar and bay leaves in chicken broth. Also try the chicken curry or a side order of lumpia, the Filipino version of egg rolls.

For a late-night snack full course, you can't go wrong with a burger or blackened chicken sandwich.
