Ah, Wilderness! Fresh air, crisp mornings, clear-running streams and ponds and lakes. Water. Last one in is a day old piece of sushi! Yes, it is that time of year once again for our ultra fab, annual Swimsuit Edition. This year we hit the road from 7th and Kenosha, down Elgin Ave. south and into the deep, dark forests of the Gunboat District and the international HQ of Just Camp. We took with us some of the best chefs and wait staff from a sampling of some of our favorite restaurants around town. We pitched tents and got down to business. You will recognize them all, even without their clothes on. They’re all great sports, to be sure, and when it comes down to preparing grub, these are the guys and gals with whom you want to travel. Buena vista and bon appetite!

Caz’s Chowhouse, 18 E. Brady, never ceases to turn out a good helping of chow nor do they cease to amaze in the quality of the food. They’re cooking staff and serving staff wanted to get in on the fun for the summer, so they staked their ground and camped out and hung out in their best swimming duds.

The cooks at Phat Philly’s, 12 S. Detroit, know how to clog a good artery and stuff customer’s full with a good cheesesteak sandwich. It should come as no surprise that these guys also know how to have a good time — no matter if they’re on or off the campgrounds.

Is this Urban Tulsa or Urban San Francisco? To me, a swimsuit issue shouldn't be mainly dudes and a couple girls wearing t-shirts.

Not to be nit-picky, but your use of the word "chef" on the cover is incorrect, and a little disrespectful. Less than half the models featured are actually chefs, and many of them aren't even cooks.

"Chef" is a title that's earned, not a generic description for food service workers. It's like calling a nurse "Doctor". Makes you look ignorant and undermines your credibility.

   Just sayin'.
