Getting Real. Take a stroll on Brookside today to check out the National Contemporary Realism 2010 exhibit at the M.A. Doran Gallery, 3509 S. Peoria Ave. The exhibit boasts more than 45 artists' creations, including some by Max Ferguson, Gary Ruddell and Kim Cogan. The gallery showcases both local and national fine art. Up in the Air. Feeling like the city has been lacking movement and activity lately? Head over to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 110 E. Second St., and watch the city on stage in Cirque Dreams Illumination literally come to life as buildings, stairways and windows transform from objects to people. This dream world tickles your imagination as acrobats, contortionists, dancers and gymnasts prove that the unimaginable is possible in this bustling city. Cirque Dreams Illumination, created and directed by Neil Goldberg, boasts more than 100 inventive costumes that are sure to lead you into this vibrant vision. Now in Primetime. If you are having late night Conan O'Brien withdrawals, The Brady Theater, 105 W. Brady St., has the remedy to cure your needs. O'Brien and his luscious locks will be taking the stage for The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour, which promises a "night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence." Knights and Dragons. Good morrow! Mistresses, grab your bodices and gowns! Valiant knights, put on thine armor! It is time for the 15th Annual Oklahoma Renaissance Festival at The Castle of Muskogee, 3400 Fern Mountain Road. The festival has something for everyone -- ale for those looking to act a little like the festival's jester, a masked ball for those wanting music and dancing, and even a tournament with battling knights. Myers' tour of America via oil paintings travels through Joseph Gierek Fine Art gallery, 1512 E. 15th St. Myers, a University of Tulsa graduate, is best known for his vibrant landscapes of the southwestern U.S. and his native state of Oklahoma. Peoria Ave. has everything you need to quench that appetite.
