Bangkok Thai

3313 E. 32nd Pl., 743-9669

Serving a lunch and dinner buffet with moderate prices and a casual atmosphere, Bangkok Thai puts out a buffet from the heart of Thailand. Curry sauces or stir-fry with Thai vegetables are traditional Thai dishes that highlight the popular Asian buffet line. Try out the soups or a traditional Thai dessert, such as tapioca pudding, too. The dishes are rotated constantly, so the food is always fresh.

Doe's Eat Place

If you're looking for a comfortable atmosphere, tasty tamales, mouthwatering shrimp, and steak that is legendary all the way down to the Delta, stop by and have a bite to eat at Doe's Eat Place. The famous hot tamales with chili are a necessity for devotees. However, steaks are the stars here, and you can choose from huge T-bones, porterhouses and sirloins. They are so big you might want to split one. The steaks are cooked-to-order and served family style on the table. Beef is what's for dinner.
