Stand ApART

Urban Tulsa Weekly's "Stand ApART" newsstand project continues to grow and spark interest from local businesses, artists and non-profits. Readers can find location- or charity-inspired newsstands sprinkled throughout the city.

The latest recipients of this purposeful artwork include St. John Health Club with a pink breast cancer newsstand designed by UTW in-house staff; Brook on Brookside designed by Rachel Guagliardo; and Petty's Fine Foods designed by Youth Services of Tulsa.

In an effort to continue to sprinkle the city with colorful art, UTW is still looking for artists or organizations who may wish to take part in the project. If you would like to design or provide the inspiration for the "Stand ApART" project, please send an email to

urban@urbantulsa.com.
