Tennessee Bound. A show stopping new Broadway musical has made its way to Tulsa. Memphis, winner of four 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical, is a gripping story of fame and forbidden love. Gift of Vocal Jazz. Let your sense of sound take a vacation for the evening to Northeastern State University's Jazz Lab, 315 N. Muskogee Ave., in Tahlequah. NSU'S 2011-2012 Green Country Jazz Series welcomes Denise Donatelli. The angelic voice of the improve singer incorporates bebop and scat into an evening of melodic delight beginning at 7pm. Family First. Find the love and acceptance that embodies freely-made families in the national touring exhibit of Pioneering Voices: Portraits of Transgender People. The photo exhibit from Family Diversity Projects displays 20 photographs of families with people of all ages who are transgender. Read the stories of these remarkable individuals who bravely faced a world of uncertainty. The exhibit is on display through the month of November at the Dennis R.
