The club scene is understandably quiet this weekend as Christmas arrives, but we also understand that you may need to escape the holiday rush, so we've got a few highlights to help you wind down as you finish your last-minute shopping spree.
Thursday, Dec. 22
This week proves to be more sleepy than most, but you can still settle in with Brandon Clark doing a solo acoustic set at Fat Daddy's in South Tulsa or get your rock fi x with Able the Allies at Treehouse.
Friday, Dec. 23
Brandon Clark Band gives you one last chance to grab that CD with a show at Hunt Club while Klondike 5 brings the speedgrass to Soundpony. Paul Benjaman Band will draw the crowd at Fassler Hall as well, but the stealth show of the night is Brad James Band at The Colony. Formerly of Medicine Show, James doesn't like to draw attention, but he's one of the most tasteful and underrated guitarists in town, making it worth seeking him out.
That's it for me folks! After that, I'm down for time with the family and you should too. Enjoy your Christmas with family and friends and we'll see you next week, gearing up for New Years!
