Living legends who earn UTW's Hot 100 year after year, have a special place in our hearts. And now, it's time to give them a special place in history. These influential Tulsans have made historical accomplishments and continue to navigate Tulsa into the future. So, to make room for future up and comers, and to show what Tulsans can do and will do if given the opportunity, the Hall of Flame is born.

Rodgers Family, Owners of Cain's Ballroom

Dear Rodgers family: Thanks for keeping Cain's Ballroom true to its history. Cain's was luring big-name acts to Tulsa long before the enormous BOK Center, and they keep coming back for more. Notable upcoming shows in 2012 include Mutemath, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones and Matt Nathanson.

Chet Cadieux, CEO of QuikTrip

As President and CEO of Quik Trip, Cadieux is the focal point and head of one of Tulsa's biggest hometown corporations and success stories. Better yet, QT remains loyal to Tulsa, regularly supporting the arts and charitable events within the city.

Snyder Family, Brickhugger LLC

The Snyder family brought a historic part of downtown Tulsa back to life when they restored and reopened the Mayo Hotel in 2009. With their success, they want to see if history will repeat itself; they are working on giving the old city hall building the same type of face lift, turning it into another unique hotel. When they're finished with that project, they'll move on to more: turning the old YMCA and Vandever buildings into new apartments. If the Mayo is any indication of what the Snyders are capable of, these other projects are certainly worthy of excitement.

Dewey Bartlett, Jr., Mayor of Tulsa

Since taking office in 2009, Mayor Dewey Bartlett has seen many accomplishments. He focuses on tasks such as energy planning and river development, but also makes a sincere effort to hear citizens' ideas on how to improve Tulsa. A city is its people and Bartlett understands that. We applaud his continued effort to make our city great.

Kathy Taylor, Former Tulsa Mayor and City Advocate

Although she decided not to seek a second term as mayor, Kathy Taylor is still actively involved in city and state affairs. In 2011 she kept busy mentoring sixth graders at Clinton Middle School, working with TU to improve future educators in urban schools, judging the Broken Arrow Teacher of the Year competition and returning to practicing law. Recently Taylor was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame, an honor she clearly deserved.
