Body of Health. Synergy Holistic Health's, 25 E. 21st St., monthly Community Night is about giving locals with alternative and natural health knowledge a place to educate and share advice.

On Feb. 10 at 6:30pm, the evening starts with introductions, tours of the new Tulsa facility, and live music by local jazz singer Annie Ellicott. The presentations range from quick tips to paradigm-rocking new theories. This month's presentations include: Basic Feng Shui with Amy Hamilton; Intro to Oriental Medicine with Curtis Webb; Reading Ingredients with Dr. Diana Doty; Astral Plane Diagnostics with the School of Metaphysics; Beverage Basics and Water Myths with Ashley and Bryan Strand; and Pranayma Breathing with Abigail Engel.

Stephanie of Theraganics will be exhibiting her all-natural, locally-made body care products, and there will be a live "cooking" show featuring raw vegan chocolate-covered strawberries for Valentine's Day.

A Little Off the Top. Tulsa's Ihloff Salon and Day Spa owned by Marilyn Ihloff recently was named to the "Salon Today 200" by Salon Today magazine, the top business publication for salon and spa owners.

The magazine's 15th annual "Salon Today 200" issue profiled the selected salons in its January 2012 edition. The 200 salons were selected for their best business practices from applications submitted by readers, who represent the 25,000 top-producing salons and spas in the country. The magazine honored applicants in 11 different best practice categories.
