In Fashion. On March 1, the Tulsa Press Club hosted the annual Newsies awards, celebrating local media professionals and generating scholarship funds for Oklahoma journalism and communication students.
T-Town's favorite print, radio and television journalists were nominated, voted for and honored at the annual event. Representing Urban Tulsa Weekly, Jennie Lloyd won the hearts and minds of voters, and took home the Newsie for Favorite Print Feature Reporter.
