A Bit of Flair. Urban Tulsa Weekly's continued efforts to increase art in public spaces and promote local artists through the "Stand apART" newsstand project is still making waves across the city. Artist April Madden, a local costume designer (of fame from Seussical and A Rocky Halloween) created the latest installment -- now in place at Dilly Deli, 402 E. Second St.

Flying Through. Cardinals fans will have the unique opportunity to see and get a free photo with the 2011 World Series Trophy through the St. Louis Cardinals World Championship Trophy Tour presented by U.S. Cellular. The only Oklahoma tour stops the trophy will be making are in Tulsa, where the trophy will appear at the following locations: Wednesday, March 14 at the U.S. Cellular store on 6703 E. 41st St. from 3-7pm; Thursday, March 15 at the U.S. Cellular store in Woodland Hills Mall from 3-7pm; Friday, March 16 at the U.S. Cellular store on 7370 S. Olympia Ave. W. from 3-7pm; Saturday, March 17 at DrillersFest -- ONEOK Field at 201 N. Elgin Ave. from 9am-1pm.

Cardinal fans are invited to come to the retail location with their own cameras or devices and get a photograph taken with the trophy at no cost. For those that may have forgotten their cameras, U.S. Cellular associates will have an HTC Flyer mobile tablet on hand to take pictures of the fans and can send the photos directly to their email accounts.
