Back in 2007, during a very scorching summer, Tulsa had the pleasure of hosting the 89th PGA Championship, which was held at Southern Hills Country Club.
Spectators, both in person and on television, watched as Tiger Woods hoisted up the Wanamaker trophy after he clinched his 13th major and his fourth PGA championship. Although Tulsa won't host a PGA tournament this year, there are plenty of beautiful courses and amateur tournaments for the enthusiast to enjoy. So lace up your spikes, grab your clubs and see what the metro has to offer.
