Thursday, May 31 Pickin' 'n' Grinnin'. Celebrate the eighth annual Tallgrass Music Festival, 3020 W. 133rd St. N., Skiatook, for three days of Bluegrass tunes and fun. Previously named The Skiatook Bluegrass Festival, this year's activities are sure to please. Camp out and enjoy performances by Travis Wackerly & Honey Creek Pass, Klondike 5 and more. Friday, June 1 Let It Crawl. Don't miss the First Friday Art Crawl, hosted by the Brady Arts District, the first Friday of every month, showcasing Brady District galleries, studios, restaurants and businesses for an evening of the arts. Monday, June 4 Historic Cinema. Honor those who serve and have served our country at Military Appreciation Day at Circle Cinema, 10 S. Lewis Ave. The cinema will give a free showing of a documentary about the most impactful naval battle of World War II, the Pacific Campaign. Thursday, June 7 Get Ready to Rumble. Break out your chaps for the 2012 Brookside Rumble and Roll annual fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma.
