You CLEARLY must not be from Texas, and therefore don't know good Tex-mex when you see it. There is a big diff between authentic Mexican and Tex-mex. But you also missed the point of Chuy's atmosphere, its sauces, its ritas...And I'm sorry but the fresh tortillas with the flour that stays on your fingers blow Abuelos off 71st street! And I've eaten at Abuelos and Los cabos many times (the only good Mexican places in town) but Chuys takes them to school with the beef fajitas....hands down best in Oklahoma. Tulsa has never had anything like Chuy's before.... that's why we imported it from the Lone Star State. Was my favorite place growing up in Austin.

Would compare chuy's to a compadres .... Not impressed. Service bad, cheap ingredients. No where near in the ballpark of Abuelo's or Los Cabos....
