I can't say I completely agree with "sman" but I will say Elmers has lost it's flare. We used to go there when Elmer was still alive and it was awesome. Now, Keith has the meat tasting better than it has since, but and I do say BUT, my family went there a couple weeks ago, dropped $100, the meat was cold, we had to order extra sides because the portion for the "family" was so small. One time we took some family there from out of town for lunch, we waited over an hour for the badwich, which, is way over priced and was cold, since then we go to billy simms or big daddy's, way faster and the meat is hot!

There is nothing of value in this restaurant. The place is dirty. The service is painfully slow and the staff couldn't give a damn. The quality of the food is poor. You could get a better meal at 7-11. Only a stupid person with no knowledge of cooking could say this is a good place to eat. If you are the typical fat American slob on your way to 400 pounds and an early death - This is your place!

If you like great food with a Mom and Pop Atmosphere this is the place to go. The food is awsome with great service and the best BBQ you will ever have.
I travel all over the US on buisness and have fallen in love with the food here.
Great job Elmer keep up the great food!!!!!!
