Yes, it's hard to believe, but another week has wrapped its way around and we're headed into another weekend. Hopefully we'll have slightly cooler weather once again and will be able to enjoy the nights out a little more. In the meantime, here are your weekly highlights to get your headed out and pointed in the right direction...

Thursday, September 13

The week kicks off with one of the best Blues shows of the season as Robert Cray Band and Kenny Wayne Shepherd pair up for a double bill at Osage Event Center that will leave guitar fans of all ages slack-jawed. If you're looking to get your jam on, check out The Steepwater Band at The Colony. Meanwhile, the all-ages crowd can check out EATMEWHILEIMHOT (featuring Christopher Drew of Never Shout Never!) with Remnant and Fur Heaven and hear a sneak preview of the coming Never Shout Never CD at Eclipse.

Friday, September 14

Blackfoot Gypsies and Dirty River Boys share the bill for a raucous night at Mercury Lounge to kick start the weekend and B plays The Shrine. If you're looking for some blistering hot guitar, however, check out Vandevander at Downtown Lounge. You can also get your fix of 90's alt-rock hits with Amped at CJ Moloney's.

Saturday, September 15

The big show of the night is Heart at The Joint, returning to Tulsa in advance of the release of its killer new album, Fanatic. If you're into indie rock, you can't miss We Are Voices with After Midnight and Good Morning Grizzly at The Vanguard. Of course, you can always settle in with a guaranteed good night of rock and country with Brandon Clark Band at Mercury Lounge or get your pop fix with Dante & the Hawks at Hunt Club.

Sunday, September 16

The concerts on the Guthrie Green series continues with Del Castillo and Saints of Valory -- a free, family friendly night of music to help wrap up your weekend.

Tuesday, September 18

Finally, wrap up your week at The Max with The Rocketz (from California) and Silver Shine (from Budapest, Hungary) for a special show that lets you rock with the bands up close and personal.
