Good Things. Word is they come in small packages, and the size estimate is just about right for the Annual Small Works Show at MA Doran Gallery, 3509 S. Peoria Ave. Local artists take on the grueling task of fitting their flair into the tiniest package possible, maxed out with style and hopefully soon to deck someone's halls. If you don't peruse, you'll lose, so come check out the small stuff. Gallery hours are 10:30am-6pm. For more info visit madorangallery.com.

FRIDAY 12.14

Torrid croonings may take precedence over carols tonight as an American favorite tickles the ears of the Midwest with his lullabies of lost love. Michael Bolton makes an appearance at the River Spirit Casino, 8330 Riverside Parkway, at 7pm. Tissues, a date, and a flask are all you really need, but a first aid kit is recommended. As any good fan knows -- they're so beautiful, it's tearing him apart. For more info visit riverspirittulsa.com.

WEDNESDAY 12.19

Comedic Timing. Friends may have remarked that yours is good, but Brandon Vestal has you beat. A favorite of adult crowds for his candid musings, the funny guy elicits laughs at the Loony Bin, 6808 S. Memorial Drive, at 8pm. The show is rife with good old-fashioned adult humor, so leave the kids at home and get ready to roll in the aisles. For more info visit theloonybin.com.
