First you publish T. David Gordon's bizarre, deeply prejudiced, incoherent ramblings against equality and the majority of heterosexuals who support equality. Then when reader Kwycoff responds with an intelligent rebuttal, you dismiss it with a smug title: "Let's keep talking about gay marriage. A lot."
Sorry marriage equality isn't as important to you guys as last year's cover story "What's the Deal With Kosher?" where you lavished detailed attention on stringent dietary restrictions for a religion very few people practice. But in real life, the right to get married and participate in building families is actually a very big deal. The reason our straight family members support us is not just because they don't want to look like bigots. It's because they are NOT bigots. They value us and know that our commitments to the people we love are equal to their own commitments. Marriage should have nothing to do with orientation; it's about pledging loyalty to the person you love.
If Gordon does not see how gays and lesbians eschewing promiscuity in favor of marriage, and later on adopting society's unwanted kids is not "serving the public good," maybe he should move to Russia where his views are welcomed by the state.

Why Don't We Get Drunk And Ship?
What a boozehound Tom Coburn, M. D., has become in the U. S. Senate.
No physician in his right mind would promote the use of alcoholic beverages as Coburn is doing. Coburn and Sen. Tom Carper of Delaware are sponsoring a plan for the U. S. Postal Service to deliver booze -- shipping beer, wine and spirits. Will the Postman deliver the booze in unmarked trucks like bootleggers?
Or, will the post office's 16-wheelers be emblazoned with giant cans of Coors Light and bottles of Jack Daniels whiskey?
This is part of the senators' solution to the post office's budget problem, losing $16 billion last year.
If only Oklahoma's late, great Senator "Baptist Bob" Kerr was around to tell Coburn he has become a "rancid tub of ignorance."
Kerr kept a boyhood pledge to abstain totally from intoxicating drink and served only lemonade, buttermilk, and water at his Washington parties. Our teetotaling Senator would have said to Coburn, "You'd just as well take rat poison. Liquor is nothing but poison. Alcohol has cost more money, destroyed more property, killed more people than all the wars in the entire history of the human race."
For selling this snake oil, Coburn should lose his medical license, his Baptist deacon position, and his seat in the Senate.

Yeah. Move, Part 2.
Oklahoma is the reddest and deadest state in America, unless you are healthy and wealthy, then it is a good place to be from.
Seventy percent of the population is fake followers of Jesus -- hypocrites that do not know Jesus or share his love of the poor and helpless, hypocrites that parade to protect the unborn but will spend nothing to help the poor, sick, and hungry children here now. They are pimps for the greedy and persecutors of the fallen. Few newspapers or TV media here have the guts to criticize these nuts controlling the state government or the corporate Christian crazies in Congress. But most will not buy a paper anyway and only watch Faux News on TV.
The late, great state of Oklahoma is now a vast wasteland -- even our tribes with their casino monies have sent their own corrupt conservatives into the politics of persecuting the poor whites that live here. Oklahoma is a taker state, taking 40 percent more federal funding than it pays in taxes, receiving great amounts of disaster help and electing their politicians because their campaign against big government that voted against disaster aid for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Prayer doesn't work -- most of the real Christians have moved on. Oklahoma is now the home of hypocrites, liars, and thieves, the home or the notorious governor Bloody Mary Fallin. Oklahoma is a state of the sickest people in America and is a state in constant disrepair with crumbling roads and bridges. Enter at your own risk!

Yeah. Move, Part 3
Bomb-carrying murders akin to minefield-placers are no different in intent. Where are the mine field zealots? Are they zombies? Are they demonstrating or too cowardly?
Psuedo- planet savers care more about global warming than global humanity. No marches for the innocents dying by lunatic bombings, but goofiness about coal and oil. Frozen hearts, no hearts for the dots of people on earth. No heart, no spirit, just zombies, Draculas for blood but haters of life. They know they are destined for the abyss, but as uncaring persons, they mock reality and like to go back to the Stone Age where they belong with no hope or faith. Too bad!
No-heart, no-brain, innocent dupes and some college-educated enough to be circus clowns, maybe.
