Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Blue Dome Diner, 311 E. 2nd St., 382-7866
Nothing says "good morning" like a pork chop. Blue Dome Diner serves a hearty pork chop and eggs breakfast. After all, why should you just stick to the bacon part of the pig? If it's beef you want, look no further and give the chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast a whirl. All of the egg breakfast options include potatoes and choice of pancakes, toast, French toast or biscuits and gravy.
Hours: TUE-FRI 7AM-2PM; SAT-SUN 8AM-1:30PM
Billy Sims BBQ, 5213 S. Sheridan, 270-1978; 7719 E. 91st St., 794-9898; 2427 W. Kenosha, Broken Arrow, 258-1978; 3803 S. Peoria, 794-8080
A new Billy Sims location opens on Brookside and then BOOM--there's a new OU Heisman trophy winner. Coincidence? Probably. None the less, when it comes to barbeque, Billy Sims BBQ has it all: brisket, pulled pork, bologna, hot links, polish sausage, smoked chicken, turkey and of course, Red Zone ribs. Billy's sideliners (that's football talk for sides) include Billy Beans, Sooner Slaw-ter, Mini-Huskers or smoked corn on the cob.
Hours: Vary by location, SUN-THUR 11AM-9PM; FRI-SAT 11AM-10PM.
Caz's Chowhouse, 18 E. Brady, 588-2469
The folks at Caz's want you to feel at home whether you're tearing through a plate of hot wings or savoring The Big "C": a two ?lb patty, double cheeseburger monstrosity. If you'd prefer not to loosen your belt after eating, there are entrees like the Tulsa Twister, dubbed, "The ultimate baked potato," or Chicken and Waffles, which, although many have heard about the unusual dish, few have tried it themselves...Well, now's your chance.
Hours: MON 11AM-2PM; TUES-THURS 11AM-9PM; FRI 11AM-10PM; SAT 5PM-10PM.
