Erin Go Bragh! Liven your afternoon with some Irish tunes. The Tulsa Historical Society, Jo Ann Berry and Hyechka Chorus are proud to present Music at the Mansion with The Anam Cronan Celtic Duo, today at 1:30pm at the Tulsa Historical Society, 2445 S. Peoria. Dana Maher plays the Celtic harp, the bodhran and sings, while Melissa Schiavone plays the Irish flute, the concertina and whistles up a storm. The concert is free and open to the public. Solid as a Rock. Tulsa arts receive a lot of attention; but Broken Arrow does its part to vitalize the scene as well. Tonight, Stonewood Coffee and Tea Company, 449 W. Stonewood Dr., hosts "The Stonewood Project," an evening with local artists and musicians. The coffee (and tea) house partners with Broken Arrow High School AP art students, providing more than 200 paintings for patrons to peruse. The event also features musical performances from White Gloves, Still Deciding, Taylor Drake and Spencer Beasley. Gooood Morning, Tulsa! Ok, well it won't actually be morning, but nonetheless, Robin Williams brings his stand-up act to the Brady Theater, 105 W. Brady, tonight at 8pm as part of his "Weapons of Self-Destruction" tour. Everyone knows Williams from his diverse career in family-friendly films like Hook and Jumanji to the more poignant Good Will Hunting and One Hour Photo. Let it Grow. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature is The Garden, which tells the story of the South Central Farmers in L.A. trying to save their 14-acre community garden, the largest of its kind in the United States. The farmers began the project following the 1992 riots in an effort to heal the broken community. By doing so, disenfranchised families finally had access to healthy, homegrown food. Get Small, Y'all. If good things come in small packages, then Tiny Lounge, 818 E. 3rd St., takes the cake when it comes to nightlife. Ice Cold. It's been a rocky year for our favorite hockey team. Tonight, the Tulsa Oilers hit the ice with the Colorado Eagles at the BOK Center, 200 S. Denver. The Northwest Division Eagles have a 17-5 away game record - compared to the Oilers' 8-11-3 home record. However, this game should be intense for teams on both sides of the puck. Are we saying a fight will break out? No, but we heard the Eagles' goalie say that one of the Oiler's centers has a bad haircut. There, that should do it. The action starts at 7:05pm. Dare to Dream. To honor the social, political and cultural achievements of African-Americans, OSU Institute of Technology invites you to celebrate Black History Month, complete with food, art and live music. The featured speaker is Larry L. Polk, award-winning professor of speech communications and human development at Richland College in Dallas, Texas. The event also includes Okmulgee middle school student Kristopher Mayfield reciting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech and music by Galian Murphy. Spring Fling. As the weather warms, we begin to notice new life all around us, including new creations from area artists. Celebrate the creative force this evening at Lovetts Gallery, 6528 E. 51st St., with its "2009 Spring Perspective." The exhibit is a delightful medley of painting and sculpture from artists working in Contemporary Realism, Native American Mixed-Media, African-American Folk Art and Abstract and Representational Sculpture.
