Back to the Drawing Board. It's been a busy month for Living Arts, 308 S. Kenosha; and the gallery honors its May artists with a closing reception tonight. Say farewell to "Senses and Symbols," Elizabeth Anne Brown's installation featuring mixed media constructions that address the internal dialogue between organic and inorganic materials. Also hitting the road is Harrod Blank's "Camera Van Photos," a tribute to the Art Car craze. The last hour of the reception is designated for a showing of Blank's documentary Automorphosis. Now You See It... Last year's Dfest saw hoards of exciting bands, but few were as titillating as Ghostland Observatory. Tonight, the South Austin electronic/rock n' roll duo brings the dance party back to T-Town at Cain's Ballroom, 423 N. Main. Between front man Aaron Behrens and producer/drummer Thomas Turner, expect to hear traces of Daft Punk, Prince, David Bowie and The Animals--never a dull moment. All Together Now! Get ready for the most glamorous Pride 2009 event yet; tonight, Cain's Ballroom, 423 N. Main hosts the Equality Gala, a black-tie event where Oklahomans for Equality commemorates another year of growth for Tulsa's LGBT community, organizations and friends. The theme this year is "Dreams Really Do Come True!" and honors Community Heroes All Souls Unitarian Church, Jim Roth and Debra Taylor as well as Rev. Richard Ziglar and the Art Gallery Committee. The reception begins at 6:30pm and dinner starts at 7:30. Tickets are $150; more at okeq.org.

All-American. Tonight at the Congregation B'nai Emunah, 1719 S. Owasso, NPR's own radio rock star Ira Glass comes to Tulsa for the first time. Tonight, he presents a lecture entitled "Radio (and Other) Stories," with a question-and-answer session to follow. Glass is known for his work on the popular NPR show This American Life, a decidedly idiosyncratic collection of stories from the nooks and crannies of American culture. The evening begins with a corned beef deli feast flown in from New York City: sandwiches, potato knishes, traditional Jewish apple cake and more. Dinner begins at 5:45pm, with the lecture at 7pm. Monday 6.1

Pedal Pushers. Feel like a cold one after a weekend full of cycling festivities? If so, stop by Soundpony (naturally). This Brady District hotspot hosts a bevy of special goings-on including live music, trivia night on Tuesdays and free happy hour hot dogs. This week, look for Make Me, ruckus indie rockers all the way from Oakland, California. Wednesday, May 3, check out Blastoids and Kamikaze Slut for dirty fun. Soundpony is known for the eclectic mix of bands it hosts, both local and out of town, from an array of genres. Oh yeah, and there's bike paraphernalia everywhere. Tuesday 6.2

Sophisticated Palette. Dreamy landscapes and ephemeral still life oil paintings adorn the walls this month at Color Connection Gallery, 2050 Utica Square. Artist Carla Perry renders subjects in her signature impressionistic style, with a delicate hand that boasts more than 50 years of oil painting experience. She has been working out of both her studio and her home near Keystone Lake for the past 40 years. Perry is one of 12 artist owners of Color Connection, regularly showing her work here and in other Tulsa galleries. Stop by anytime from Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5:30pm. Wednesday 6.3

Bed Bugs. One of the most popular Broadway musicals hits the stage at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 110 E. 2nd St., in Chapman Music Hall. The Drowsy Chaperone tells the hilarious tale of a celebrity bride and her catastrophic wedding day...through song and dance. The glamorous romp won more Tony Awards than any other musical in the 2006 season including Costume Design, Original Score and Scene Design. Thursday 6.4

Are You Ready? Shine your hog for an annual fundraiser benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma. Bikers' favorite drag hosts Brookside Rumble & Roll, featuring a motorcycle parade from the fairgrounds at 7pm all the way to 36th and Peoria for a performance by the Mid-Life Crisis Band. Cost is only $10 per rider, with every red cent going to Make-A-Wish. Enter for your chance to win a $2,500 shopping spree to Meyers-Duren Harley Davidson, 4848 S.
