Round of 8-ball. Magoo's Billiards & Entertainment, 5002 S. Memorial Dr., polishes its cue sticks to welcome the first T-Town Classic One Pocket Championship. The event runs from today till Feb. 7, and billiards players from across the world have been invited to compete. Well-known billiards pros including Corey Deuel, Shane VanBoening and Gabe Owen, Magoo's own local pro, will compete for cash prize payouts. Kiss, Kiss. For more mature audiences, the TwoLips Burlesk vaudeville, burlesque, cabaret and drag show could be a fun early Valentine's Day outing. The Nightingale Theatre, 1416 E. Fourth St., hosts the show, which boasts 14 performances throughout the night, chock-full of opportunities for audience participation and hosted by Drag Emcee Extraordinaire Nikki Le'Chapelle, the National Midwest Entertainer of the Year. Can We Laugh? Comedian and actress Joan Rivers performs at the Osage Event Center at the Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino, 951 W. 36th St. With a career spanning more than 40 years, Joan Rivers has been a frequent guest on The Carol Burnett Show and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson earlier in her career and is well-known for covering award show red carpets. She's also well-known for her "Can We Talk?" persona from the Emmy-award winning daytime talk show The Joan Rivers Show. In 2009, Rivers was the winner of Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice and donated her winnings to the charity God's Love We Deliver. Her comedic performance is at 7pm and tickets are $25. Kicking Off. The date, the place and the teams have been decided, and now the biggest game of the year is about to start. Whether you're a Peyton Manning fan or rooting for the underdog Saints, Tulsans--along with the rest of the country--will be watching Super Bowl XLIV. The next big thing to decide, however, is where you'll be watching the game. SoCo's, 8161 S. After a high-ranking Russian official moves his family to the United States, U.S. CIA agent Michael Nordman finds out information about the Russian movement in Cuba and gets a French aquaintance to check out further details on it. In the complicated scheme of things, they discover a French spy ring codenamed "Topaz" and its transmissions to NATO. Grab a Compass. If you're not geographically-inclined, Tulsa Artist Coalition Gallery, 9 E. Brady, might be the place to get that fixed with their new exhibit, House of Maps: An Installation by Yiren Gallagher. On a more serious note, though, Yiren Gallagher's House of Maps exhibit is more about intangible realities such as memory, attachment and togetherness. "In this display I have created, collected, discovered and transformed maps," Gallagher said. "Within each there lies a unique story, providing the viewer an aura of information and memory. Head Turner. For those late-night owls looking to catch a bite to eat or drink after a night on the town, White Owl, 1325 E. 15th St., might be the place for you. During the day and throughout the evening until 10pm, the place buzzes with people for lunch and dinner. First for Everything. Oklahomans for Equality geared up its monthly First Thursday Art Opening and Exhibit on Feb. 4 with Original Works by Robb Conover. Throughout the month of February, Convoer's works will display in the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center, 615 E. Fourth St. Through his artwork, Conover aims to make a plan to arrange expression and soul into all forms that could appear on his canvas. A great deal of his art is influenced by the world's greatest POP artists, watercolorists, realist and sculptors. "There are no accidental meetings, not even in art," Conover said. "There's a reason for every inch of paint that you see on my canvas." The exhibit continues throughout February from 6pm till 9pm in the art gallery/conference room.
