Watching Pennies

Dear Editor:

(In response to "The Great Greek Bailout" in the May 27-June 2 issue of Urban Tulsa Weekly)

It would seem to me that not only are our leaders, but the leaders in many of the other countries could benefit from a basic understanding of math. You know, like first day simple math.

I think many of their problems with making good decisions stems from the fact that many have never held a job outside of politics, never been an employer, never balanced a checkbook, never sat down at the kitchen table and cut checks to pay bills.

Many trained as lawyers have been taught how to talk out of both sides of their mouth on any given subject at any given time with great authority, even though they haven't a clue about said subject. Their general moral fiber would allow them to steal the pennies off of their poor dead mother's eyes. I don't think there is going to be enough time to vote their sorry hides out before the whole country hits the skids. This is a pretty sorry state of affairs to us that grind along every day trying our best to support families, pay our own way, follow the laws as written, pay our taxes and put a bit away for the rainy day and a well earned retirement.

And for these idiots that we call leaders to just fritter it all away is criminal for certain.

Make An Example

Dear Editor:

(In response to "Crime and Punishment, Corporate Style" in the May 27-June 2 issue of Urban Tulsa Weekly)

Off with their heads!

BP and Massey Energy should be made an example of.

Corporate citizens, pshaw! These are two of the largest corporate public enemies operating today.

No changes to current law are required only a change in attitude toward robber-barons and a sec'o'state willing to administer corporate death sentences to a few of the most egregious offenders.

All's Fair

(Stacy)

Thank you so much for the wonderful work you did on the privatization story. Nice job! We appreciate the thoroughness and fairness of your article.

Zealot Monsters

Dear Editor:

The Oklahoma Republican legislature and all Oklahomans in Congress are monsters, serial killers, corporate prostitutes and hypocrites. The once great loving state of Oklahoma began listening to false political prophets -- persecutors of the poor. The evil inquisitionists are here and the Oklahoma media are silent -- afraid of burning crosses. The legislature is lead by Dr. Frankenstein -- Mike Ritze. The Congress has the medical menace Dr. Tom Coburn.

490,000 uninsured Oklahomans have no access to personal doctors -- thousands die annually from medical neglect, and these maniacs are trying to stop family doctors' help from the federal government because of partisan politics.

Humans are the killer species -- the only creatures that kill for political and religious ideologies. The pro-life propaganda is a lie. Abortion is wrong, and so is allowing government control of a woman's womb.

These Oklahoma Mullahs are theocrats -- same as the Taliban, evil little men-oppressors of women. They do not care about unborn babies -- they do not take care of the babies here now. These fake Christians always cut healthcare and welfare to mothers and children. They are Churls condemned in Isaiah 32:5-8 and James 1:27. Oklahoma, Louisiana and Georgia have the largest percent of homeless children -- all dominated by Christian soulless monsters, moneychangers, publicans, poverty makers, stone throwers, ahters-stooges for evil corporations. This hate Kult makes up 70 percent of Oklahomans. It is an official hate state; it would take a miracle for an honest Christian to be elected again in Oklahoma.

They want to privatize the DHS and Workers Compensation Fund, too. When Republicans say reform or privatize, they mean destroy or create bribe sources. Churches could save more babies if they would help desperate women and offer their homes when born, but they only persecute desperate victims. These vigilante mobs are hypocrites -- not right, not righteous -- a Kristian Krazy Kult of hate. I hate the haters.
