Hear This. With new release Diamond Eyes in hand, nu-metal band Deftones has left sunny Sacramento to ascend stages all over the country, including that of the Brady Theater, 105 W. Country Tune. If you prefer old classic country to what you'll find this century, you might want to check out Robbie Fulks at the Tulsa PAC, 110 E. 2nd St., this evening. Robbie knows a thing or two about manipulating words and working wit and soul-touching sentimentality into his country songs, but he can also pull out an impromptu class cover song at will. Robbie Gjersoe and The Trishas join him in the John H. Williams Theatre for the show at 7pm. Tickets are $22. To find out more about the show, go to tulsapac.com.

Rolling on the Floor. For those unfortunate enough to have never had a crazy aunt or grandma, you're in luck because comedian Janet Williams is here to join your family. Known as the "The Tennessee Tramp," she's done tours in countries as near as Canada and as far away as Germany, Korea, Guam and Japan. For $8, you can watch Janet perform at The Loony Bin, 6808 S. Memorial Drive, at 8pm. Although her humor appeals to a wide audience, you must be at least 18 to attend. For tickets and more information, go to loonybincomedy.com.
