Festivals Unbound. Jump around town today and enjoy all the festivities that are flooding Tulsa. Greek Holiday, Tulsa's oldest ethnic festival, is serving up some food and fun at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1206 S. Guthrie, where you can pretend you're in the Mediterranean for a night and take in the sounds and smells. The Grecian games and gyros are available Thursday from 11am to 9pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 10pm. Admission is free before 4pm on Thursday and Friday. All other times $3 and children 12 and under are free. Now, don't forget to roll into the Rock n Rib Festival outside the BOK Center at 3rd & Frisco. This year's festival includes 14 live bands taking the ONEOK outdoor stage. Sauces from all over the country have dribbled in to tantalize taste buds and satisfy every sweet, spicy or fruity appetite that might wander through. Just in case that ol' whistle isn't wet yet, there is always the mechanical bull. Ribs will be served Thursday through Saturday from 11am to midnight and Sunday from 11am to 3pm. Braveheart & Bagpipes. Its finally time to breakout that kilt again. That's right, the 31st annual Oklahoma Scottish Festival is taking place at the River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave. Melding Celtic tradition and rock and roll, such bands as Needfire and Jiggernaut are set to perform. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, there will also be clogging, old country sporting events, a Kid's Glen full of games and of course the pipes and drums. Now, if leprechauns and grown men alike are not yet persuaded to attend, there is also the famed single malt whisky tasting. The festival is $5 per person, and children 6 and under are free. Sweat Treats and Good Vibrations. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, 770 W. Cherokee St. in Catoosa, hosts UTW's Urban Indulgence, a night full of delectable desserts, gourmet cuisine, fine spirits and thousands in prizes and giveaways. While this night is sure to entice and entertain even the dullest of individuals, the real treat is for charity. All of the proceeds for this evening will benefit Tulsa Advocates for the Protection of Children and the American Diabetes Associates. Satisfy your appetite with a spread of more than 40 desserts and over 100 beers, wines and spirits. Special guests include Kerry Vincent from the Food Network. Aged Treasures. For all the young readers in the audience, old does not necessarily mean out. It's time to take great-grandma's hand painted rooster that she got in the old country off of the shelf. The Vintage Tulsa Show, Antique and Collectibles Sale is coming to town and will be at the Spiritbank Event Center, 10441 S. Regal Blvd., Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. The event will include a wide selection of vendors, an appraisal fair and more than likely several (for the youngsters) unidentifiable items. Brewing Life. Finally there is a great (and legitiment) reason to polish off that six pack. Head out to the nearest participating store or bar and drink a few Miller High Life beers for our troops. The funds will go toward Bottle Caps for Military Vets and will provide America's returning veterans with high life experiences such as sporting events, concerts, outdoor activities and more. Hurry Fast. Ride the time machine with Rush as the provocative and historic band takes the stage at the BOK Center, 200 S. Denver. The Time Machine Tour is set to board at 7pm and the warp through time and space will begin at 8pm. Rush is currently working on their 20th studio album and is sure to light up the stage with a few classics and some much anticipated new tunes. Laughing Latin. Setting the microphone aflame at The Loony Bin, 6808 S. Memorial Drive, Alex Reymundo unleashes his Latin-inspired comedy tour, Red-Nexican. Best known as one of the Original Latin Kings of Comedy filmed for Showtime, Alex is sure to light your fire with his successful marriage secrets, stories of why you should keep a safe distance from his dog and his version of parenting.
