Minstrel Show. It's been a good while since Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney graced the big screen, but for three nights, they are back in the limelight in Tulsa. Visit the Circle Cinema, 10 S. Lewis Ave., to watch the beloved classic White Christmas. Sing along with Irving Berlin's timeless musical masterpiece and watch as Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen dance the night away. Contining through Christmas night, this tale of romance and downtrodden heroes still warms hearts both young and old. Visit circlecinema.com for more information.

Sunny Showdown. It's another bowl year for Tulsa's beloved Golden Hurricane. Tune in to ESPN at 7pm to watch helmets collide in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl as Tulsa University takes on the Hawai'i Warriors. Both teams feature explosive offenses, but only one will leave with the field on a high note. So put aside those gift, grab some cold beer and greasy pizza, and get ready for a not-so-silent night. Christmas just might come one day early this year. Visit tulsahurricane.com for more information.

Holiday Greetings. It's the most wonderful time of the year. Santa has made his rounds, the kids are on edge to tear apart the beautiful wrapping paper and dad is poised with the camera. Dec. 25 has finally come, and we at UTW want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. We're gathering with family and loved ones to celebrate the reason for the season (and to get some good presents). Make this Christmas the most memorable one ever.

Wonderland. Everyone's favorite things are a little different. Maybe a beautiful night sky, a perfect cup of coffee or the cool winter breeze makes your list. Few people are able to express their favorite elements of life by painting, but Matt Moffett brings cityscapes, animals and landscapes to life in his My Favorite Things collection. Visit Champman Music Hall at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 110 E. 2nd St. to browse through Moffett's world of "raindrops on roses." The collection is open to the public thru Dec. 30. Visit tulsapac.com for more information.

Take a Break. Christmas leftovers look a little less appealing, and now that the family has cleared out, it's time to get out of the house and meet up with some good friends at the White Owl, 1325 E. 15th St. If good friends are hard to find, there is always a great bartender to listen to your holiday woes and serve up a good brew and delicious pizza. Visit whiteowloncherry.com for more information.

Channel Your Inner Dorothy Hamill. Winterfest has only a few days left to run. Soon, the tree will come down, the ice will melt away (hopefully) and Segway Santa will motor himself right back to the North Pole. So don't miss this annual event going on in front of the BOK Center, 200 S. Denver. Grab the kids, bundle up and put on those ice skates that never get used. Admission is $8 with skate rental, $5 if you bring your own and $5 for children. The festivities wrap up on Jan. 2, so hurry down. If you can stand the winter chill, there is even a Ferris wheel. Visit bokcenter.com for more information.

Latino Laughter. Headline performances at The Apollo, Funny Bones and The Improvs are just a few of the notable lines on the resume of Alex Ortiz, who takees the stage at the Loony Bin Comedy Club. Sidesplitting laughter is bound to ensue as soon as Ortiz mentions his interesting and less-than-ordiniary experiences with women. Audiences might need resuscitation for lack of oxygen as the jokes and gags roll out of Ortiz. One night of uninhibited laughter is a great way to say farewell to 2010. For a full listing of performance times and ticket prices, visit loonybincomedy.com.

Priming the pump. Everyone pre-games for New Year's Eve, so this year do it Irish style. Head on over to James E. McNellie's Public House, 409 E. 1st St. Smile at the hostess, then make a beeline for the bar. Order a few drinks with friends in celebration of the year (almost) past and the year ahead. Wash it all down with some delicious sweet potato fries. But don't overdo it, because tomorrow night is the real celebration; you're just warming up. Visit mcnellies.com for more information.
