Moving Work. The Gallery on Sixth, 2207 E. 6th St., announced the launching of a new mobile gallery in the form of a refurbished trailer. The primary goal is to promote Oklahoma artist while taking the art to the people.

The trailer will be set up in downtown Tulsa for the work crowd and will travel around the city when invited for block parties, festivals or company parties.

Presently the mobile gallery shows 20 different artists but Gallery on Sixth is looking for new exhibitors as well.

Cheers. Polo Grill has again received the Wine Spectator, "Best of Award of Excellence". Over the past year, the wine list and wine program have undergone a continuing expansion in selection, depth and breadth. Polo Grill offers an average of 35 wines by-the-glass, with an additional eight selections of fortified and dessert wines.

New Residents. Marmi, a national retail store specializing in women's fine footwear, will open in Utica Square in September.

Marmi opened its first boutique in 1986 and has since then opened more than 30 stores nationwide. Marmi specializes in comfortable, fashionable footwear for women and is recognized as a leader in European influenced footwear.

The retail store will open in early fall, located in the space previously occupied by Brouse's, between Med-X and J. Spencer.
