Room to Relax. Bella Faccia Day Spa, 8303 E. 81st St., Ste. B, had a ribbon-cutting event on Sept. 22. The spa is owned by Maria Trujillo and operated by Leonora Bustos -- mother and daughter, respectively. Both have lived in Tulsa for more than 23 years and are bilingual in Spanish and English.

Start Up. Oklahoma State University's Cowboy Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs is a series of courses for Oklahomans who are seriously interested in launching their own ventures or are in the early stages of start-up.

Presented by the Riata Center for Entrepreneurship in the Spears School of Business at OSU, the program will be held over six consecutive Saturday mornings from 8:30am to noon at OSU-Tulsa's campus, beginning Oct. 8 and concluding Nov. 12.

Bootcamp classes are taught by nationally-recognized OSU School of Entrepreneurship faculty members and successful entrepreneurs.

Over the course of the program, participants will learn why it is important to approach venture creation as a process, ways to find entrepreneurial opportunity, the components of a great business concept, the role of a business plan, how to use bookkeeping and accounting to make smarter decisions, ways to leverage resources, how to manage risk, how to organize a business's day-to-day activities, how to deal with hiring and outsourcing, and the uses for trademarks and intellectual property.

New Digs. Must Stash, a trendy clothing and accessory store located in Brookside, recently expanded into a bigger space at 3724 S. Peoria Ave. Known for their affordable products that are produced and designed by local fashion designers, Must Stash opened just four months ago by owner Ashley James, and has seen a great deal of demand.
