Gobble, Gobble. Set the table, welcome the out-of-towners, hide grandma's frightful fruit salad and don't forget to defrost the turkey. Gather family and friends to celebrate the blessings and triumphs of 2011. Cheer on the Dallas Cowboys as they go head-to-head with the Miami Dolphins; or spend the day feeding those who are in need at John 3:16 Mission. It's cozy up with family and pass-out from a turkey coma time -- Thanksgiving Day has arrived.

Friday 11.25

Pick Up the Pace. Work off mom's stuffing and dad's mashed potatoes with a 5K run or a one-mile fun run beginning and ending at the BOK Center, 200 S. Denver. Push through the bird-induced coma from Thanksgiving and get moving with Turkey Trot. Leave the Black Friday insanity in the dust and spend the morning benefitting Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless. Registration begins at 7:30am. Visit fleetfeettulsa.com for more information.

Saturday 11.26

Concert at Cain's Ballroom, 423 N. Main St. Pull the crew together for some head-banging and fist-pumping beginning at 5:45pm. Visit Nov. 26-27 to see the accompanying video presentations about how Irwin dove into a love of photographing the sea. The exhibit is on display through Nov. 28. Visit okaquarium.org for more information.

Fab Four. Step back in time and relive the British invasion with John, Paul, George and Ringo. RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles brings back the classic tunes that defined a generation. Raise your lighter to Let It Be and step to the beat of Hard Day's Night. Those who lived through the 60s can put the impersonators to the test and the younger crowd can get a peak at the glory years they missed. The foursome takes the stage at the Chapman Music Hall of Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 110 E. 2nd St., Nov. 29-30 at 7:30pm. Visit tulsapac.com for more information.

Wednesday 11.30

Damn the Man. Ditch the corporate conference call and sit in on a different type of board meeting. The CorpJester, Mark Klein, lightens the load for CEOs across the country when he brings his corporate-inspired comedy to the stage at Loony Bin Comedy Club, 6808 S. Memorial Dr. Learn some new boss-man jabs to take back to the office Nov. 30 thru Dec. 3. Visit loonybincomedy.com for more information.

Make a Stand. Unbiased in its attack, AIDS and HIV continue to plague society while activists work for a cure and a world without this life-threatening disease. Look into the lives of five individuals as they come to grips with the epidemic that pierced the heart of San Francisco in the early 1980s. In honor of National Aids Day and in cooperation with Tulsa Aids Coalition, Circle Cinema at 12 S. Lewis Ave. is showing We Were Here at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. Visit circlecinema.com for more information.
