Week after week, 2012 continues to build as one heck of a year for Tulsa's music scene. We can't blame you if you're having a hard time keeping up, so we've got the highlights to get you started and make sure you don't miss anything important.

Thursday, Feb. 2

Old 97's return to Cain's Ballroom with Caitlin Rose as support and a local twist to keep things fresh as The Big O Show opens the evening at 8pm. If you're looking for something even more roots oriented, settle in at The Colony with Grazzhopper putting a bluegrass spin on your favorite tunes.

Friday, Feb. 3

Randy Rogers Band continues to build as one of the hottest Texas country acts with a return to Cain's Ballroom. Meanwhile Rodney Parker & 50 Peso Reward will be raising a ruckus at Mercury Lounge while Panda Resistance and El Valiente mix things up at Soundpony and Vandevander burns the house down at The Colony.

Saturday, Feb. 4

Band of Heathens brings turns its normal set on its ear with a rare acoustic performance at All Souls that is exactly what the spring concert series is all about. Mercury Lounge continues to bring the heat as well, bringing Austin based Sons of Fathers to town for the group's first Tulsa appearance, mixing country, blues and a touch of Grateful Dead. Of course, you can always settle in at The Colony with a killer guitarist and local legend, Steve Pryor.

Monday, Feb. 6

Don't forgot the aforementioned Polyphonic Spree show at Bob's as the band kicks off its 2012 tour with an intimate and eclectic show on the small stage.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

"The End of the World" tour hits Cain's Ballroom with a bill that will keep the younger crowd excited as Mayday Parade and We the Kings co-headline with The Downtown Fiction, Anarbor and Ruins in the Atlantic opening.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

Finally, Roger Creager rounds out the week with a CD Release show at Cain's Ballroom for his latest, Surrender, bringing Cain's Ballroom a blast of real honky-tonk. Travis Kidd opens at 8pm.
