With more and more Tulsan's venturing beyond the city limits for shopping, dining and entertainment, Oklahoma City's Classen Curve offers a fresh perspective when it comes to all things high end. "It's all local," said Heather Griswold, from the Classen Curve Merchants Group, "You want to shop at places you can't get in Tulsa."

A firm small business supporter, Griswold believes the Curve has more than charm than offer. Designed by world renowned architect, Rand Elliott, the Curve is comprised of clean lines with store fronts that don't face the street. Matthew Kenney OKC

"Our menu is a plant based and whole foods menu," said Matthew Kenney OKC Manager, Brittney Williams. "We focus more on health and everything with the body," she said. Owned by author and raw food chef Matthew Kenney, the restaurant features a menu of items that don't surpass 115 degrees and are sure to not only expand your palette, but your food preparation expectations as well. The menu, divided into savory and sweet, changes seasonally save for their best-selling Heirloom Tomato Lasagna they serve year around with pistachio pesto and pine nut ricotta.

Liberte

If you're looking for something a little more business attire, then Liberte has just the closet for you. "We carry more contemporary tailored lines," said Liberte Store Manager, Eden Turrentine. "We have lines from New York, exclusive to us like Ted Baker, Sue Wong and Erin Fetherston." Liberte also offers Fidelity denim, swimwear and accessories for the professional fashionista. Liberte is also the newest shop in the Classen Curve, having opened its doors this past May.

Republic Gastropub

Arguably the hottest stop in the Classen Curve, Rebublic Gastropub, fondly referred to as Rebublic by locals, offers upscale bar food and a pleasing atmosphere. "It's an awesome place to go watch the Thunder or just to have a good dinner with a few friends," said Jessica Morrey, OKC resident and ESPN Freelancer for Thunder Basketball. On game nights, Republic is the place to be, with an expected three-hour wait for a table, and locals say it's totally worth it. Carwin's Shave Shop

While you're in OKC, Carwin's Shave Shop is a must for men. Winter House Interiors

Since 1989, Winter House Interiors has been beautifying homes and has garnered the status of one of the top interior designers in the state. "We specialize in carrier decorating and home furnishings," said associate, Dawna Long. Winter House's storefront location features everything from furniture to flooring, lighting and custom bedding and draperies. Upper Crust

Upper Crust Wood Fired Pizza isn't your average dough, marinara and cheese joint. This upscale New York style pizzeria is an all Napa Valley interior with a serious Italian Menu. "The Margherita Pizza is amazing and they have an awesome list of wines," Tulsa native, Garrison Ryan said. "It happened to be game night, but the whole experience was fantastic," he said. The Classen Curve Doesn't end there. Barre3, owned by former Seattle Supersonics player Desmond Mason and his wife, teaches a fitness regimen combining yoga, pilates and ballet and is open for a quick and challenging workout. Uptown Kids, a high-end children's clothier, is a one-stop shop for trendy duds for kids.

Steven Giles, an Absolutely Gentleman's clothier offers everything and anything the sharp dressed man in your life could want. "The cupcake shop is great," Griswold said, Green Goodies offers a sinful bakery full of delectable sweets, with vegan and gluten free options as well. There is truly something for everyone in the family at Classen Curve.

Concert on the Curve, much like Utica's Summer's Fifth Night, is a concert series that recently ended in the Curve, but will pick back up in September, the first Thursday of every month, weather permitting.
