Artist Collective. Feast your eyes on the on the works of local mixed-media artists group PlayDate, at Living Arts' Myers Gallery, 307 E. Brady St., from 6-9pm. PlayDate, consisting of more than 75 artists will showcase interactive demonstrations, fabric painting and stamping, silk screening and much more in their exhibition titled 'Looking Forward With A Different Eye.' Thru July 20.

Beatle-Proof. Don't be a Blue Meanie. See the 1968 Beatles' classic, Yellow Submarine, at Circle Cinema, 12 S. Lewis Ave. at 12&9pm in celebration of Ringo Star's birthday! Lions, Tigers and Bears, Hey Bhagwan! Don't miss the exotic take on The Wizard of Oz, presented by the Sanskriti School of Dance and Hema Kumar, Dorothy in India. A SummerStage performance, the show tells the tale of Dorothy being transported to India by way of tornado, instead of Oz, where she then explores the wonders of Hindustan. Performance will be at 7pm in the Liddy Doenges Theatre, 110 E. 2nd St.

Wild Horses. See purebred and majestic steeds at the annual National Championship Appaloosa Show and World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show at Expo Square, 4145 E. 21st St. Beginning at 7:30am, free admission gives you access to watch many equestrian events, such as stake races, reining, Western riding, English riding, heading and heeling and more. An event the whole family will enjoy.

Back Alley Broadway. What happens when everything that could possibly go wrong happens during a musical? Hilarity ensues in this "naughty cabaret." Wrong Way Broadway, presented by SummerStage, features show tune favorites from Spring Awakening, Chicago, Cats and more, gone completely wrong. Performance today is at 7:30pm in the Robert J. LaFortune Studio at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 110 E. 2nd St. Show is for mature audiences only.

Wheat Fields Waving. Celebrating 100 years of Woody Guthrie, the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival Centennial is back for another year of awesome live entertainment, music contests, workshops and fun, all memorializing one of the most influential people to call Oklahoma home. Hear Arlo Guthrie, Jesse Aycock, the Red Dirt Rangers and more than 30 more bands and musicians. Located in the heart of Okemah and featuring many indoor and outdoor venues, grab a group of friends, a guitar and campout during this fun festival.

Camp In. Not a fan of the heat and creepy-crawlies that come along with traditional camping? Seen Sleep Away Camp enough times to keep you out of the woods and bears give you the heebie-jeebies? Have no fear, Urban Campout is offering an open camp night from 6-11pm. This gives campers a chance to experience Urban Campout without renting the entire space, or sleeping out in the wilderness.
