Urban Spirits

Bar: KEO

Bartender: Derek Sipes

Drink: Ginger Julep

Ingredients:

1 tsp fresh minced ginger

fresh mint

dash simple syrup

2 oz Bullit Bourbon

dash fresh lime juice

soda water



In a cocktail glass, muddle minced ginger and a few mint leaves with simle syrup. Next, add the bourbon and lime juice and pour into a ashaker, giving it a slight mixing. Finally, strain into an ice-filled highball glass, fill with soda and garnish with a mint sprig. Do it yourself -- or better yet, have one of these tasty cocktails made for you at KEO. Pairs well with spring rolls.
