Altered Reality. Inspired by a true Tulsa story of creepy people doing creepy things back in the '40s, The Hex House, 8314 E. 71st St. is an "extreme haunted attraction" not meant for the kiddies. Bringing the participant entertainment, perhaps catharsis, and a mess of Halloween vibe, many visitors run out crying and wetting themselves, then go back for more. Go figure.

To Your Health. It's not really Fall until the Chicken Dance begins -- at least that's what they say at the Tulsa Oktoberfest, which begins October 18 at River West Festival Park, 2100 S.
