With Hobby Lobby in the news lately, you may not be surprised to learn that its founders, the Green family, have amassed one of the largest collections of Christian sacred texts in the world. The Green Collection is on display at the south lobby of the Mabee Center, 8023 S. Lewis Ave. The event is free and great for the whole family.

Running from the Cold. It may be warm this week, but it's about to get very chilly. The annual Big Freeze Tulsa 5K and Fun Run assembles runners from all over as they vie to be the most hardcore athlete: the kind that runs an obstacle course in winter. The stretching begins at Buddy LaFortune Community Center at LaFortune Park, 5202 S. Hudson Ave. You can watch or you can participate: late registration begins at 7am, with the race itself at 8am.
