I can honestly say I'm disappointed that while I received the email telling me I was a runner up for the SXSW contest, there was no mention of me in the article. I was unavailable for the photo, but if my essay was good enough, it would have been nice to be recognized - at least by name. The embarassment of telling my friends about the contest, only to be disappointed when the issue came out, is painful enough, let alone the frustration that comes along with it.
