If folks and the fundamentalists church leaders woukd listen to Reveerent Pearson and other like him, the human condition would be greatly improved. And that is what Jesus, his teachings and his life were/all all about.

Actually I think those of the same ilk as Mr Ewing have missed the boat entirely. The Church of the 1st century wouldn't reconize the distorted beliefs and doctrines of exculsion of todays churches. Jesus was not about authority, in fact that was a major component of what he and the Old Testament prophets railed against!
