Democrats boycott an election and hand everything to Republicans? Dumbest idea I've ever heard.
I'm gravely disappointed in Democrats too, but having Republicans governing with no checks and balances would be a lot worse. N'est pas?

What violations of city ordinances require time in jail? Jaywalking? Failure to mow one's lawn? Too many dogs?
Whatever the jailable city violations are, I suggest that the Tulsa police stop filing city charges against anyone for whom state charges are being filed at the same time. Then there would be far fewer city inmates. Problem solved.

I'm looking forward to reading Dr. Hendrickson's views on the bailout of everyone who bought bad paper backed by sub-prime mortgages. Travesty?
Wouldn't it make more sense for Uncle Sugar to help homeowners avoid foreclosures? Then the bad paper would actually become worth something.
