The inital cost of having a pet spayed or neutered at some facilties is prohibitive to having the procedure done. Would it be possible to consider offering a reduced rate at various locations around Tulsa to encourage the owners to bring in their pets? Reduce the cost of shots, the procedures, the medication if needed for treatment and more people will take advantage of it. Also, as a responsible pet owner of large dogs, there are ways to contain your pets without huge expenses. There are several options to electrical shock fences either underground or above ground that will insure that wayward pets stay in their own yards. And Yes, it does work on pit bulls and pit mixes.
