"Bridenstine also made waves recently when he voted against funding to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. This prompted John Olson, Bridenstine's 2012 opponent, to write an open letter repudiating the vote to N.J. Governor Chris Christie, which UTW published Jan. 17." Glad to see that Olson has his kneepads @the ready for C.C. What the "author" of this hit-piece intentionally omitted is that Bridenstine voted against funding the Sandy bill because it contained approx. 30% in pork; much of it allocated to states OTHER THAN THOSE AFFECTED BY SANDY, but the spendaholics in DC refused to trim the fat.....Yellow journalism, thy name be UT.

Thank you, Michael Bates. She drove T-town to the financial cliff; jumping away in the nic of time while throwing the keys to "The Dew". While I've enjoyed many shows @ the BOK center & do see its value to Tulsa, I thought it was started under Mayor Lafortune. If that is true, shouldn't that cast doubt over her campaign claims to the public that it was HER idea, but also that it was completed ON BUDGET??? Are you kidding me? I seem to remember, at least early on that it was a financial drain with very high operating costs. Isn't it true that the GLASS CUBE downtown is still mostly unoccupied? I thought it was going to be such an excellent money maker. And don't forget Kathy Taylor during her previous tenure was a member of NY Mayor Bloomberg’s anti-Second Amendment group Mayors Against Illegal Guns — which is really just a group of leftist mayors who oppose gun ownership. Finally, how about a Mayor for Tulsa from somewhere other than mid-town? Now THAT, would surely be a change worthy of consideration.

Mr. Hamilton's obvious contempt for his fellow Oklahomans begs the question: Why would he subject himself to such torturous circumstances as to remain in such a 2nd Amendment-supporting state? I believe there are a number of other states that find the 2nd Amendment equally repugnant where he would surely feel more "snuggly-safe." Irony abounds given a particular reference of comparison to the state of Illinois (Al Capone's Chicago); home of you-know-who. Hardly a coincidence, Chi-town has an astronomical number of murders & other gun crimes, albeit few involving LEGALLY OWNED WEAPONS. It would seem that Mr. Hamilton finds more virtue in becoming a victim of gun violence rather than self protection. I would suggest more than a "scrumptious Caesar salad" at the ready should a life-threatening situation arise for him or his loved ones.

"Stay tuned into UTW this election season as we continue to let our thoughtful readers break down the latest political shenanigans... " LOL! I would say the shenanigans belong to Hussein & company; way too many to list on this venue.
