Re: 2010 ABoT Music Awards Winners  8/ 7/2010 - 4:27pm
Way to award a radio station that still plays vomit inducing music such as creed and nickelback Tulsa. Continue to devolve in the music scene. These lists are comical and annoying because great artists from Tulsa never win anything.

Re: The Few. The Proud.  1/19/2009 - 5:32pm
The Department of Eagles record was really good. I listened to that for about 2 months straight.

Currently I'm stuck on the new Animal Collective album..the song "My Girls" is impossible to stop listening to.

But my last 2008 suggestion has to be Grouper - Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill. Really good chill album, don't expect to find it on vinyl though, only about 500 out there and theyre going for up to $80 on ebay...worst part is, is that its the best way to listen to it.

Great list, however, I feel like you might of missed out on a couple of albums (I agree with this though, "It's impossible to assert that any album is objectively the best of the year, but it's fun to point out favorites"), mainly Fleet Foxes - Ragged Wood, M83 - Saturdays=Youth, and No Age - Nouns.

I like your choice with Portishead though. Mine was personally Fleet Foxes then Portishead at number 2.

If you read this, according to your tastes, you should really enjoy the albums I listed if you haven't already.

Re: Flat on his Artistic Face  12/31/2008 - 3:12pm
LOL at the other comments...David Cook is a joke, another junk piece you throw in your closet that daddy (the media) tried to make...Im sorry but he has no talent..unless you
consider bands like Nickelback and such as full of talent.

I heard 30 second clips of a couple of tracks and started laughing out loud and felt sad that Cook wants high school girls and Affliction wearing deusch bags at his concerts.

If you think this is Rock n' Roll, turn off the TV, go get the semi new "No Age" or "Deerhunter" album and see were rock is really going.
