The gDiapers, which have a flushable insert, are the hybrid of diapers as they have both reusable and flushable components. gDiapers are a great in between for those who have major aversions to cleaning dirty cloth diapers. When using gDiapers it is best to start out with a starter kit, which includes 2 diapers, 3 liners, and 10 flushable inserts. You simply unfold the insert and place it in the liner which snaps to the diaper. The baby does her thing and you flush the insert, wipe the liner, and from time to time wash the diaper. This really reduces the mess as well as some guilt.
