Today I took a cab from a hotel in New Orleans to the New Orleans International Airport. Total of 15.9 miles by Google map. Cost $30.
When I arrived in Tulsa, I took a cab from the airport to Cityplex Towers, which was 15.3 Google miles. Cost $53.95
I was stunned.
I called the cab company, and the dispatcher agreed it sounded high.
I am awaiting the call back.
I had always heard cab fees were high in Tulsa--but this was just beyond astounding.
