Was three a study or consideration of storm water drainage improvement to move more storm water to the Arkansas River. I grew up in this area, near 3 and Peroia, and don't ever remember it flooding. $30 + million of local and federal taxpayer money we can't afford.

Back when we had a commission form of government the Water and Street Departments were separate. What's wrong with going back to that division?

I think this is a great idea to spend taxpayer money to build more nice places for the homeless, remember when they were called hobos or bums, and druggies. They deserve a nice enviornment at taxpayer expense. Give me more socialism. I still have a few dollars left at the end of the month and that's just not "fair".

I wouldn't call Nelson's the worst, but, it an old fashioned diner with average diner fare. It's not the quality of the original Nelson's Buffertia that was downtown. I worked downtown from 1959 to 1974 and again in 1983 -84 and it was really good. I still go to this new Nelson'a occasionally just for old lang syme because I ate there when it was the Ranch House Cafe.
